LRP plant trees for the people and the planet. Some of our proudest moments are the times we are able to bring our community together for the purpose of building connection to nature and each other. One of the ways we do this is by offering field trips to local schools. Kids who visit the nursery are able to get their hands dirty while learning about native trees of the Philippines and reasons to restore the forest.
workforce development program
Another way we bring community closer together is through a workforce development program that allows residents to receive fair wages and benefits while restoring forest resources in their communities. Our goal is to continue making forest restoration a viable option for livelihoods as we move forward in our efforts.
Most importantly we provide opportunities for the community to join us at planting trees during Earth Day and Arbor Day celebrations, and commemoration and tree planting events hosted by the local government where people get a chance to contribute to the ongoing effort to popularize planting native trees and revitalize local ecosystems.
